Hey there!

Iā€™m Brooke Register and I am an artist, art teacher, and adventurer of all things in nature. I have been practicing art ever since I could hold a pencil, and my passion only continues to grow with each new adventure.

I spent the majority of my life in Ohio, growing up in Auburn and attending OSU for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Art Education. I was always finding ways to escape and find solitude in nature, but my passion for the outdoors grew as I began rock climbing and backpacking in my college years. This inspired me to seek even greater opportunities for adventure in the West as I pursued my teaching career and ultimately landed me here in the Little Snake River Valley of Wyoming where I teach Kindergarten through 12th grade art.

Through all of this adventuring, moving and teaching, art always played a major role in self reflection and therapeutic release. Though the content of my work has and continues to change throughout the years, it has always been rooted in the connection between human beings and nature. From mandalas, to landscapes, to animals, all of my art has been an investigation of, and appreciation for, the ways in which we are deeply intertwined with the natural world around us.

I began fly fishing in my twenties after my move to Wyoming and it became an immediate passion that led to artistic exploration. The therapeutic similarities between the act of fly fishing and artistic practice naturally caused me to combine the two passions. I began sharing my work more publicly and before I knew it I was steadily creating commissioned work for people all around the country. I never would have thought that my art would allow me to connect to so many individuals and I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to do so. My hope is that my work brings people back to that indescribable feeling of bliss when they felt their deep connection with nature, and ignites a new appreciation for the natural world around them.

With Love,

B
